Rufus Frank Ware, age 89, resident of 104 Benfield Road, Kings Mountain, NC died August 28, 2008 at White Oak Manor, Kings Mtn. NC. He was born in Cleveland Co, NC. He was the son of the late Rufus Alexander and Hattie Margaret Dellinger Ware. He was the husband for 53 years to the late Bessie Wood Ware. He was also preceded in death by brother, Fred Ware and sister, Florence White. He was a member of First Wesleyan Church, Kings Mtn. NC. He was retired from Seth Lumber Co., Lincolnton, NC.

SURVIVORS: Son: Charles F. Ware and wife Emily, Kings Mtn. NC Brother: Clyde Ware, Kings Mtn. NC Sisters: Ethel Kiser, Cherryville, NC; Mary Gibbons, Kings Mtn. NC And Sue Lewis, Fallston, NC. 2 Grandchildren: Marsha Campbell, and husband Scott, Kings Mtn. NC Kelly Ware and wife Lori, Shelby, NC 4 Great-Grandchildren: Lauren Campbell, Summer Campbell, Emma Ware, and Mary Claire Ware.

FUNERAL SERVICE: First Wesleyan Church, Sunday, August 31, 2008 2:00 P.M. Rev. Don Williams and Rev. Eddie Gray, officiating.

VISITATION: 6:30 – 8:00 P.M. Saturday evening, August 30, 2008 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mtn. NC.
