Ted Allen Ware, Sr., 54, of Greenville, died July 12, 2010.
Born in Greenville, he was a son of Mamie Hutchings Ware and the late James Edward Ware.
Mr. Ware was a graduate of Carolina High School and Opticians Training School in Mansfield, Ohio. He was employed as an Optician for 34 years with Bausch and Lomb/White Haines/Southern Optical and was a member of Oak Crest Baptist Church.
His delight was playing with his grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his mother are, a daughter, Crystal Sizemore and her husband, Blake; a son, Ted “Allen” Ware, Jr. and Nicole; five grandchildren, Camille, Drayton, and Cage Sizemore, Cade Ware and Xan Rowland; one brother, Don Ware; one sister, Wendy Ware; an aunt and uncle, Lou and Mary Hutchings: and numerous cousins, including Susan and Tim Lumpkin.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 14, 2010, from 6:00 p.m – 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.
The service will be Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 1:30 p.m in the Northwest Chapel.
