William Victor Ware Jr., 71, of Louisville passed away January 17, 2016 at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center. He was born on September 19, 1944 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was retired from the United States NAVY and was a dedicated supporter of the DAV.

He is preceded in death by a daughter, Denise Lynn Ware and his father, William Ware.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judy Ware; three sons, Chris Ware (Lori), Kevin Ware (Angela) and Jay Ware (Anu); seven grandchildren, Heather Devore (Jeremy), Ashley Ware, Ryan Ware, Zefrah Ware, Miranda Ware, Jayden Ware and Michael McQuillion (Stacie); one great-grandson, Eli Devore; his mother, Rosina Ware; and ten siblings, Al Ware (Betty), Rose Pate (Butch), Claude Ware (Peggy), Gene Ware, Charley Ware (Sue), Johnny Ware (Linda), Barbara Ware, Ronnie Ware, Larry Ware (Diane) and Doris Ware.

A service to celebrate his life will be conducted on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4-8 on Wednesday and from 12-2 on Thursday both at the funeral home.
