Bruce J. Ware, 75, of Arroyo Grande died on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2002, at his home.

No services will be held.

Mr. Ware was born in St. Paul, Minn., on May 29, 1927. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 to 1946, then worked as a CHP bus and truck inspector, retiring after 16 years of service. He was a family man who liked animals and walks on the beach.

Mr. Ware is survived by his children, Sue Diane Ware, Brian Ware and Bruce Ware Jr.; his mother, Lucille Mable Olson; and four grandchildren, all of Arroyo Grande. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Deach Ware, in March 1994.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice Partners of the Central Coast at 277 South St., Suite R, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401.

Arrangements are through Marshall-Spoo Sunset Funeral Chapel in Grover Beach.
