Charles Justin Ware, 77, Lee’s Summit, MO, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2002, at his home. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, February 9, at Floral Hills East Cemetery, Lee’s Summit, MO. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Langsford Funeral Home, Lee’s Summit. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mr. Ware was born April 15, 1924, in Independence, MO. He was a WWII Army veteran. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post in Montrose, MO, and a member of the Teamsters Local 41 in Kansas City, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. He is survived by his wife, Opal Ware of the home; two sons, Edwin Ware of Raymore, MO, and Graham Ware of Hardin, MO; daughter, Judy Dixon of Midland, TX; sister, Madge Cook of Independence, MO; five grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren.
