Kenneth R. Ware, 75, of Pleasant Hill, MO, passed away Monday, January 6, 2003, at Lee’s Summit Hospital. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, January 9, at the Wallace Funeral Home, 422 N. Lake, Pleasant Hill, MO, where family will receive friends 10 a.m. until service time. Burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Ware was born April 17, 1927 in Pleasant Hill, MO. He was a lifelong resident of the Pleasant Hill area. He was a U.S. Postal employee and retired in 1990. He was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, one grandson, one greatgrandson and one daughter-in-law. He is survived by his wife, Melva Ware of the home; one son, Jay Ware of Pleasant Hill, MO; two daughters, Joan Mabary of Harrisonville, MO and Janice Hook and her husband, Charles of Lee’s Summit, MO; one sister, Norma Jean Grantham of Lee’s Summit, MO; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
