Mona Kay Ware age 51 departed this world on April 9th, 2010. She was born at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson AZ on September 19, 1958 to John F Long and Kathleen (Groom) Long Moore both of which have preceded her in death. She has one surviving sister, Sandi Lawson of Milan, MO and an honorary brother, David Jones of Atlanta, GA. Mona’s passion in life was her two daughters, Shanon Long of Atlanta, GA and Roseanne Ware of St. Joseph , MO. She enjoyed sharing her home with a variety of animals and caring for them. She was a very avid sports fan. She absolutely loved NASCAR; #3 was her favorite. Goldberg was her favorite wrestler. She wholeheartedly supported the Atlanta Braves and the Kansas City Chiefs. Mona spent her early years in Independence, MO and Albany, MO. She met and married Clarence (Bud) Ware and they lived in St. Joseph for several years. Mona then moved to Georgia and lived in the Atlanta area for 22 years. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by friends and family.
