Shirley “Ann” (Ware) Leonard, 81, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 3, 2013 in Columbus, Ohio.

Ann was born in Lake Placid, New York on October 3, 1931. She was the daughter of her late parents, Edward L. and Alice Ware and late brother, J. Vernon Ware. She graduated from Lake Placid High School class of 1949 and attended business school in Syracuse.

Later she moved to Albany, New York and worked for the New York Telephone Company. It is in Albany where she met her husband, Robert “Bob” Leonard. Bob and Ann were married in 1955 in Lake Placid in St. Agnes Catholic Church with a beautiful reception at the Mirror Lake Inn. Soon after marrying they began a family, and in 1967 relocated to Worthington, Ohio where they have lived since.
