Carolyn Hope Ware, 76, died Monday of a heart attack at Corona Regional Medical Center. Private family services are planned.
Friends may call from noon until 3 p.m. Saturday at Thomas Miller Mortuary in Corona. Inurnment will be private.
Mrs. Ware, who was born in Chicago, lived in Corona 54 years. She was a secretary at Corona Lumber Co. for 28 years until she retired in 1983.
She was a member of Corona United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Ware enjoyed golfing, gardening, knitting and traveling.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Terry; a daughter, Sharon Mansfield of Englewood, Colo.; three sons, Andy of Laguna Niguel, Pat of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and Bob of Corona; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Virginia Kompst of Cascade, Idaho.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, Alzheimer’s Association of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties or the Shriners Children’s Hospital, 3160 Geneva St., Los Angeles, 90020-1199.
