Services for Clifton Ware, 60, will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at March Air Force Base Chapel. He died Friday of a heart attack at his daughter’s home in La Quinta.
Friends may call from 5 until 9 p.m. today at Preston and Simons Mortuary in Riverside. Burial will be in Hillside Memorial Park in Redlands.
Mr. Ware, who was born in Brewer, Ark., lived 30 years in Moreno Valley.
He was a senior master sergeant in the U. S. Air Force for 26 years before retiring in 1977. He was a contract administrator for the Defense Logistics Agency in Ontario for 11 years before retiring in 1994.
Mr. Ware received an associate’s degree in business from Riverside Community College.
He was a past commander of Moreno Valley Chapter 58 of the Disabled American Veterans. He enjoyed vintage cars, fishing and motor home travel.
Mr. Ware is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn Ware; a son, Clifton of Morris Plains, N.J.; two daughters, Kathryn Colebrook of Canoga Park and Pamela Canale of La Quinta; 13 grandchildren; and five sisters, Sybil Greene of Bakersfield; Trixie Ham of Carpinteria; Margaret Hamm of Frelland, Wash.; Doris Alexander of Temple City; and Christine Mossinger of Alta Loma.
The family suggests contributions to the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 58, P.O. Box 7395, Moreno Valley, 92552.
