“A. Z. Ware, 47, son of the late Dave and Amanda Chesteen Ware, pioneer settlers of the Kilmichael community, died at his residence near Kilmichael Sunday, June 24th.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. H. C. Miles at Nations Poplar Creek Baptist Church at 4:00 p. m. Monday.

Surviving him are: His wife, Mrs. Hamer Garrett Ware; four daughters, Mrs. I. J. Jacks and Miss Katherine Ware of Starkville, Miss Margie Ann Ware and Miss Sarah Ruth Ware of Kilmichael; two sons, James Harvey Ware, Indianola, and Billie Ware of Kilmichael; four sisters, Mrs. D. G. Garrett, Greenville, Mrs. G. W. Sherwood, Indianola, Mrs. J. M. Pearson and Mrs. Will King, both of Winona; two brothers, J. D. Ware, Ruleville, and W. S. Ware, Winona.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Lee Funeral Home.”
