Homa Olene Garrett Ware Obituary, 1968

Last rites held at Kilmichael for Mrs. Homa Ware

Funeral services were held at the Kilmichael Baptist Church Thursday, April 4, at 11:00 a.m. for Mrs. Homa Garrett Ware.

Mrs. Ware, age 67, died at the Kilmichael Hospital April 2. She was a native of Montgomery County and a member of the Poplar Creek-Nations Baptist Church.

Officiating were Mr. Dan Beardain and Rev. Bill Henson. Burial was in the Poplar Creek Nations cemetery, with Lee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are two sons, Harvey Ware, Kansas City, Missouri, and Bill Ware, Indianapolis, Indiana; four daughters, Mrs. Bill Hoskins, Cincinnati, Ohio; Mrs. Marvin Sykes, Greenville; Mrs. Crowder Cain, Sallis; Mrs. Harvey Greenlee, Kilmichael; two sisters, Mrs. Nola Mosley, Mobile, Alabama; and Mrs. Tilman Berry, Petersburg, Indiana; thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Ted Mosley, Marion Mosley, Freddie Mosley, Jimmy Mosley, Garrett Mosley, and Mac Wilson.’
