Jeanne Ware, a resident of Villa Las Palmas Healthcare Center, since a paralyzing stroke in 1999, died March 2, 2008, at Grossmont Hospital in La Mesa. Mrs. Ware enjoyed bridge, she enjoyed getting out, and she enjoyed the rare gin martini with ice and two olives. She was grateful for attentive caregivers, loving family members, and special friends, and had hopes of being able to live more independently one day. Mrs. Ware is survived by two sons, a daughter-in-law, two grandchildren, a sister, a brother-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.
