Mabel Ware Morgan Obituary, 2011

FOREST Mable Ware Morgan, 96, of Forest, died on Sunday, December 25, 2011, at Lackey Convalescent Home in Forest. Visitation was held from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 27, at the funeral home chapel with burial in the Damascus Cemetery. The Rev. Ray Lathem and Elder Hilton Moore officiated the services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Morgan was a native of Leake County and had lived in this area for 18 years. She was the daughter of Alberta Ross and Lela Ware. She was married to Percy L. Morgan. Mrs. Morgan was Primitive Baptist and was a member of the Damascus Primitive Baptist Church.

She loved her family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her parents, Alberta Ross and Lela Ware, and her husband, Percy L. Morgan.

Mrs. Morgan is survived by her daughter, Frances Morgan Madden, and her husband, W.B. Madden, Jr., of Forest; sister, Dot Lee of New Hebron; brother, Roger Ware of Sebastopol; grandchild, Wesley Morgan Madden and his wife, Leigh Ann Madden; three great-grandchildren, Jessica Barrett, Wes Madden and Tyler Madden; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
