Olen W. Ware Obituary, 1998

A memorial service for Olen W. Ware, formerly of Riverside, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Weaver Mortuary in Beaumont. He died of cancer Tuesday at his Banning home. He was 81.

Inurnment will be at Riverside National Cemetery.

Mr. Ware, who was born in Wayne, Okla., lived in Banning 11 years after living in Perris 17 years and in Riverside 14 years. He was a journeyman rodman. He was a member of the International Association of Bridge, Structural and Ornamental Iron Workers, AFL-CIO Local 416, in Los Angeles for 56 years.

He served in the U. S. Army during World War II.

Mr. Ware is survived a son, Charles W., of Riverside; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul, of Rancho Cucamonga; and his companion, Marcus Kipp Jr. of Banning.
