Syble Ware Elmore Obituary, 2015

Mrs. Syble Ware Elmore, 64, passed away, on September 2, 2015, at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville.

Mrs. Syble was born September 5, 1950, in Vernon, AL, the daughter of the late Oven Argene and Lillie Beatrice Williams Ware. She was a graduate of Vaughn Beauty College and held an Associates Degree from East Mississippi Community College. She was a hair stylist that owned and operated Sybles Backstage Hair Designs in Starkville for 15 years. Overall, she was a hair stylist for over 40 years.

Later in life, Syble went back to college and graduated from Mississippi State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. She was a member of the Starkville Church of God. She married James Larry Elmore on June 27, 1992, in Northport, AL.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: Delton Ware and her sister: Inez Hindman.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 5, 2015, at 2:00 P.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Brother Jerry Elmore officiating and assisted by Sister Jackie Wilson. Graveside Services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday from Greenhill Memorial Garden Cemetery in Reform, AL. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include Her Husband James Larry Elmore of Starkville; Her Daughter, Lisa Marler (John) of Montevallo, AL; Two Step-Daughters: Paige Wright (Jon) of Atlanta, GA, and Samantha Reichle (John) of Bessemer, AL; Two Sons, Will “Beaver” Peterson of Fairhope, AL, and Tim Peterson of Water Valley; Twelve Grandchildren; Her sister, Priscilla Chambers of West Point; and Her Brother, Darrell Ware of West Point, and her Canine Companion: “Sassy”.

Pallbearers will be John Marler, Jon Caleb Reichle, John Reichle, Jonathan Marler, Andrew Marler, Ben Smith, Mike McCool, and Daniel Peterson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rosie Childs, Nurses & Staff of Gentiva Hospice, Bob and Donna Johnson, Anthony Stevenson, Carolyn Batchelder, Doris Keith, and Evalynn Hathorn.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 8217, Jackson, MS 39284. Visitation will be Friday 5:00 -8:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home. Friends may leave an online condolence at www.calvertfuneralhome.com
