She was born October 26, 1916, in Middletown, the daughter of late Samuel and Charlotte Bannister. On May 22, 1938, she married Irvin Ware. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Charles L. and Boyd A. Ware, both of Fulton, two daughters, Ruth L. Shockley of Richmond and Phyllis M. Miller of Lincoln, Illinois, three sisters, Kathryn Voyles, Phyllis Deavers and Vivian Skelton, nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by a son, a granddaughter, two sisters and two brothers.

Mrs. Ware was a homemaker and also worked as a nurses aide. She was a member of the Callaway County Christian Church and American Legion Auxilliary.

A memorial service is at 7:00pm today at Callaway Christian Church with Reverend ldon Wilson officiating.
