Helen Laverne Ware of Palatine Helen Laverne Ware was born on June 7, 1918 in Chicago to George and Marie (nee Urbe) Olsen. She died Tuesday, April 23, 2013 in Lincolnshire. Helen is survived by her granddaughter, Tracy (Arlyn) Steggall; her daughter-in-law, Arlene L. Ware; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Ware Jr.; her son, Ronald G. Ware; her parents; and her two brothers and her sister. Visitation from 9:00 am until the time of funeral services at 11:00 am Friday, April 26, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights. Interment Ridgewood Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society , 1114 N.
