IRENE WARE GILSON, of Cape May Court House and formerly of Camden, died Thursday at the Victoria Manor Nursing Center, North Cape May.

Mrs. Gilson formerly worked for the Cape May County Probation Department. She was a charter member and past president of the Soroptimist Club of Southern Cape May County; a member and ex-regent of the Cape May Patriots Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, and a member of the Society of Mayflower Descendants.

She was the widow of Percy Gilson of Cape May Court House.
