Joseph Ware Obituary, 2009

Joseph Ware, 82, of Newton Twp., died Monday at AseraCare Hospice at Mid-Valley Hospital, Peckville.

Born in Scranton, son of the late Floyd and Agnes Roche Ware, he was a self-employed farmer and was a resident of Newton Twp. most of his life.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Hospice of the Sacred Heart for the compassion and love the staff gave to Joe.

Surviving are two stepsons, Matthew Thomas and wife, Donna, Clarks Summit; and Harry Thomas and wife, Georgia, Scranton; four sisters, Mary Zanghi, Leona Woodmansee, Betty Ware and Joan Burke; a brother, James Ware; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Thursday at noon in the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
