Nelda Pearl Anderson Ware Obituary, 2007

CLINTON – Nelda Pearl “Pooch” Ware, 63, of Clinton passed away at 3:15 p.m. (Feb. 3, 2007) at her family residence in Clinton.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Calvert Funeral Home, 201 S. Center St., Clinton, with Rev. Richard Gray officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Calvert Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton.

Memorials may be made to DeWitt County Friendship Center.

She was born in Springfield on Sept. 15, 1943, to Earl A. Anderson and Gladys L. Reed. She married Charles J. “Pete” Ware on Sept. 5, 1964.

She is survived by her husband, Charles J. “Pete” Ware; one daughter, Jennifer (Mark) Tarbox of Clinton; two sons, Christopher Ware of Clinton and Curtis (Amy) Ware of Mahomet; three grandchildren, Mylee Rose Tarbox, Jonathan Tyler and Ryan Anthony Ware; two brothers, James “Jay” (Socorro) Anderson of Frazier, Calif., and George (Lynn Eversole) Anderson of Neehah, Wis.; two sisters, Helen Marie “Re” (Don) Burris of Virden and Debra (Dave) Housworth of Virgina Beach, Va.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Clinton.
