Funeral services for Ronald G. Ware, 64, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights. Born Feb. 8, 1938, in Chicago, he died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002, at the Palliative CareCenter and Hospice of the North Shore in Evanston. Interment will be in Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines. Mr. Ware graduated with honors in 1970 from Northwestern University, earning his bachelor of business administration degree. He had a distinguished career in finance from 1964 to 1994 with the Magnaflux Corporation, where he was controller and group vice president. He later served as treasurer at Richardson Electronics from 1994 to 2001. Survivors include his wife, Arlene Ware (nee Laufer), whom he married Sept. 22, 1962; daughter, Tracy Ware of Buffalo Grove; mother, Laverne Ware; special niece, Jennifer Hansen, and nieces, Suzanne Leisure and Cheryl Good; and aunts, uncles and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Ware. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
