Born in Tennessee, he was the son of the late Clarence and Lucy Ware.
During the Korean War, he served with the Marine Corps.
Until retiring, he was a machinist at SPD Technologies, Philadelphia.
He was a member of St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, White Haven.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was his wife, Barbara M. Ware, who died in August.
Surviving are a son, Christopher Ware, stationed with the Navy in California; daughters, Jacqueline Sloan and Patricia Yates, both of Philadelphia; and Susan Miller, Downingtown; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, to be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, with the Rev. Stephen Stavoy as celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, White Haven.
There will be no viewing.
