Fayola “Faye” May Ware
(January 28, 1941 – December 7, 2012)
Memorial services for Faye Ware will be conducted Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. from the Martin Funeral Chapel of Elk City with Rev. Kendell Hamilton officiating. Visitation will be on Monday and Tuesday at the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City.
Fayola “Faye” May Ware was born January 28, 1941 at Lyons, KS to Russel and Verlie (Snook) Baker and passed away Friday, December 7, 2012 at the age of 71. Faye worked as a CNA and Activities Director at the Elk City Nursing Home and was a member of the VFW, American legion and involved with the Boy Scouts of America. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dennis Baker.
Survivors include her husband: Dewey Ware of Elk City, 2 sons, Robert Womack and his wife Lorie Dawn of Elk City, Verlan Womack of Elk City, 2 daughters, Dawna Womack of Elk City, Alaina Byrd and her husband Rodney of Hampton, VA, stepson, John Ware and his family of Larned, KS, 5 grandchildren, Leisa, Lorrie and Jason Womack of Elk City, Stacy Powell and her husband Evan of Ladysmith, WI, Brooke Byrd of Hampton, VA, 2 great grandchildren, Bryce and Kayleen of Lady Smith, WI, 2 step grandchildren, Belinda and Gloria Tremble, one sister, Leola Campbell and her husband Mike, niece and nephew and very good friends. Memorials in Fayes name can be made out to the Boy Scouts of America.
