Etta Laure Ware, 78, of Dauphin Manor, formerly of Harrisburg, died Thursday in the manor.

She retired from the Army War College, Carlisle Barracks; was a graduate of the former John Harris High School and Rider Business School, Trenton, N.J., and attended the former Shippensburg State Teachers College; and was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, Swatara Twp., its Rosary Group at Dauphin Manor, and the Harrisburg Symphony and Harrisburg Foreign Policy associations.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Tuesday in her church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Swatara Twp.

There will be no viewing.
