Pearl E. Ware Birk, 77, of Wilmington, Del., a supervisor for DuPont, died June 26 at home.
She worked at Dupont for more than 30 years, and was an accounts payable supervisor when she retired. Mrs. Birk was one of the first women supervisors there.
She was born in Shelby, N.C., and moved to Wilmington many years ago. She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and three brothers.
She played bridge, gambled, read biographies and went to the beach.
Survivors: Husband, William J. Birk son, David A. Birk of Wilmington daughter, Catherine P. Birk of Collingswood, N.J. nieces and nephews
Service: 11 a.m. Saturday at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1630 Foulk Rd., Wilmington.
Visitation: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
