SPRINGFIELD Annie Marie (Wilson) Ware, 67, of 53 Marshall Street, Spring-field, MA, departed this life on Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at Baystate Medical Center. Mrs. Ware was born in Rowan County, North Carolina, a daughter of the late James and Frances (Johnson) Wilson. She moved to Springfield 50 years ago and had been employed by the City of Springfield Food Service Department, and previously as a data processor by Digital Equipment Corporation. A member of Wesley United Methodist Church she was active with the United Methodist Women and the Evangelist Ministry. She is survived by her husband, Frank Ware Sr.; a son, Frank Ware Jr. (and his wife, Denise Clark Ware); a daughter, Renay Ware Calhoun; a sister, Viola Massey (and husband, Adam); three grandchildren, Daylan Ware, Ashlyn Calhoun, and DeWanna Calhoun; one great-grandchild, Tyson Kier; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The calling hour is 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at Wesley United Methodist Church, 741 State Street, followed by funeral services at noon. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery on Monday.
