PELHAM Beatrice (Cady) Ware, 82, of Boyden Road, died Wednesday at home. Born in Syracuse, N.Y., she moved here in 1991. She was a leader in the Cub Scouts, Brownie Scouts and Girl Scouts. Her husband, George A. Ware Jr., died in 1973. She leaves a son, George A. III of Whittier, N.C.; three daughters, Nancy M. Griest of Columbiaville, Mich., Susan E. Ware of Washington, D.C., and Cynthia “Lennie” Ware of Pelham; a sister, Genvieve Newcombe of Canada; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Amherst Funeral Home is in charge.
