She was 86. She was a graduate of McReynolds High School in South Pittsburg, a member of Randolph United Methodist Church and the widow of Charles G. Ware.
Survivors include a son, Charles E. Ware; three sisters, Alberta Council, South Pittsburg, Frances Redd, Roxbury, Ma., and Alice Elizabeth McWhorter, Wayne, Mich.; nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. CST at Randolph United Methodist Church in South Pittsburg with the Rev. Stanley Williams officiating.
Burial will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
