His wife, Margaret (Trochelman) Ware, died in 1988. He leaves four sons, Donald E. Ware Jr. of Houston, Tex., Richard and Lawrence Ware, both of Westboro, and Kenneth Ware of Milford; a sister, Hellen Gibbson of Englewood, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was born in Worcester, son of John C. and Lillie Ware, and lived in Westboro before moving to Cloverleaf Farms 12 years ago.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Westboro. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 7 Oak St., Worcester, 01609. Rand and Harper Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westboro, are in charge of local arrangements.
