LANCASTER – Rachel A. Ware, 94, formerly of 31 Bigelow Gardens, died Monday in Clinton Hospital after a long illness.
She leaves two cousins, Juanita Gosse of Loma Linda, Calif., and Ruth Griffin of Maitland, Fla. She was born in Stoneham, daughter of Robert A. and Carolyn (Frye) Ware, and lived here more than 31 years, having also lived in Wilton, N.H. She graduated from Atlantic Union College.
She worked at the New England Sanitarium before retiring. She previously taught music in Hartford, Conn., schools. She was a member of the Golden Age Club and the Seventh-day Adventist Village Church.
All services will be private. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery in Temple, N.H. Queen Chapel, 658 Main St., is directing arrangements.
