She was the wife of Ralph Ware, who died March 15, 2007, whom she married Sept. 2, 1950.
Born in Natick, the daughter of the late Emma L. (Reus) Jarboe and Parran C. Jarboe, she graduated in 1951 from Framingham State College with a bachelor’s degree in education.
A member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Natick her entire life, she served on the church’s Altar Guild for 30 years. Mrs. Ware was Past Worthy Advisor of the Natick Assembly 28 Order of Rainbow for Girls in 1948.
She was a member of the Thursday Afternoon League at Fairway Bowling in Natick for more than 30 years.
She leaves her five children, Cynthia MacDonald and her husband, Bruce, of Lake Linden, Mich., Paul Ware of Marlborough, Andrea Rothwell and her husband, Mick, of Natick, Wendy Ware and her husband, John Cavanaugh, of Natick and Scott Ware and his wife, Laura, of Elizabeth, Colo.; seven grandchildren, Rebecca Blackmore, Evan and Alexander Mac- Donald, Jesse Blackmore, Grace and Henry Cavanaugh and Brookanna Ware; and one great-grandchild, Rose Elizabeth Blackmore.
She was the sister of the late Carolyn (Jarboe) Cox Egan and Leona (Jarboe) Kirby Chapman.
A funeral service will take place today at 11 a.m., at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Natick Center.
Burial will be in the Ware family lot in North Cemetery, Rte. 27, Natick.
