James Scott Ware Jr. Obituary, 2006

James Scott Ware, Jr. 59, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 22, 2006. A Cleveland native, James was the son of the late James Scott Ware, Sr. and Earnestine Ware.

A retired employee of Allied Bendix (Honeywell) with 24 years of service, James also spent his early years as a former director of the Northeast Recreation Center.

He was a member of the Unity Christian Ministries Church under the pastoral leadership of the Rev. Aubrey Ector. His Christian service was devoted to the beautification and upkeep of his church.

James was preceded in death by his father and mother; one brother, Earnest L. Ware; two sisters, Anna Jean Wells and Mary Lowe.

Survivors include his devoted and loving wife of 28 years Darla Ware; seven beautiful daughters, Angelique Ware, Pamela McCane, Yolanda Rice (Stanley), Jennifer Brewer, Geneva Piersaul (David), Alicia Ware and Jamie Ware, all of Cleveland; brothers: Robert Ware (Janice), Rev. Jerry Ware (Brenda), Cletus Wells and Timothy Lowe, all of Cleveland; sisters: Nellie Ware, Sharon Ware, and Patsy Woods, (Leonard), all of Cleveland; 16 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, July 26, 2006 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Patton’s Funeral Home, located at 265 Fair St.

The home-going celebration will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2006, at First Baptist Church, located at 99 Central Ave., Cleveland. Family visitation will begin at noon with the homegoing service beginning at 1 p.m. Pastor Aubrey Ector will deliver the eulogy.

Interment services will follow immediately at Fort Hill Cemetery.
