WARE, JANE CURRIER – age 87, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday evening at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was a member of Fountain City United Methodist Church for the past 10 years, before that she belonged to Church Street United Methodist Church and was very active in both churches. Retired from TVA Division of Law. Preceded in death by her husband, Albert S. Ware. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Tweed Courtney and Daniel Mailman; grandchildren, Lucy Elizabeth and Jonathan Tucker Courtney, all of Houston, Texas. Memorial Service 10 a.m. Friday at Gentry-Griffey Chapel, Dr. P. L. Rowlett and Rev. Cabel Trent officiating. Private interment will follow. Family has requested no flowers and that memorials should be made to either Fountain City United Methodist Church or Church Street United Methodist Church.
