She was a member of Lamontville Baptist Church and had recently attended Waterville Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Walker and Blassie Haney Walker; and special aunt and uncle Oda Haney Bradford and William J. Bradford.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Arnold L. Ware Jr. of Cleveland; four children and their spouses: Mark and DeeDee Ware of Calhoun, Marilyn and John Duncan of Calhoun, Melinda Purdie Heatherly of Caryville, and David Ware of Cleveland; one brother and sister-in-law, William H. and Barbara Walker of Calhoun; one sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Dee Bailey of Tampa, Fla.; eight grandchildren: Kelly McCutcheon, Ben Ware, Nancy Carey, Brandon Ware, Ty Purdie, Matthew Purdie, Alexis Ware, and Shaelyn Ware; and two great-grandchildren: Natalie McCutcheon and Brodie Ware.
The funeral will be held Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, at 8 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Pastor Allan Lovelace officiating.
Interment will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Calhoun Baptist Church Cemetery with Ben Ware, Brandon Ware, Ty Purdie, Matthew Purdie, Doug McCutcheon, and Brian Carey serving as pallbearers.
A Trinity Dove Release ceremony will conclude the interment service.
