Clifton Eugene Ware Obituary, 1998

LEXINGTON – Clifton Eugene ‘Gene’ Ware, 68, retired furniture manufacturer and crafter, died of heart failure Wednesday at Methodist Hospital of Middle Mississippi. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Southern Funeral Home with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery. He served in the National Guard and was a member of Oregon Memorial Church. Mr. Ware, the husband of Lillian H. Ware, also leaves three sons, Clif Ware of Tampa, Fla., Len Ware of Lexington and Tracey Ware of Columbus; two sisters, Carolyn Rinicker and Mary Elizabeth Eubanks, both of Lexington; a brother, Robert Ware of Lexington, and five grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Central Holmes Academy in Lexington or to French Camp Academy.
