Dorothy Stansbury Ware obituary, 1997

DOROTHY STANSBURY WARE, 50, of Memphis, died of lupus Wednesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 7 p.m. today at Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial at 10 a.m. Saturday in Forest Hill Cemetery Midtown. M. J. Edwards & Sons Funeral Home has charge. She leaves a daughter, Yolanda Ware, and her mother, Mary Augusta, both of Memphis; her father, Robert Hyman II of Chicago; seven sisters, Logene Williams, Stephanie Grayer and Gwendolyn Carrathus, all of Memphis, Collette Thomas, Claudette Dandridge and Cynthia Stoxstell, all of Chicago, and Anita Suell of Starkville, Miss.; three brothers, Joe Augusta II and Eddie Augusta, both of Memphis, and Robert Hyman III of Chicago, and a grandchild.
