LELAND – Georgia Ware Lamkin, 83, homemaker, died of heart failure Sunday at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Boone Funeral Home here with burial in Leland-Stoneville Cemetery. She was also a retired lab technician with Delta Branch Experiment Station and Pedigreed Seed Co. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Leland. Mrs. Lamkin, the widow of Robert Louis Lamkin since 1988, leaves a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Smyly of Leland; a son, Robert Lamkin of Memphis; two sisters, Eloise Ware McDonald of Jackson and Jessie Mae Ware Boykin of Vicksburg; three brothers, Howard Ware and W. Clifton Ware, both of Leland, and John Ware of Spiro, Okla., seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
