Sarameida Pendergrass Ware age 70 a resident of Georgetown suddenly went home to be with her Heavenly Father Monday June 17, 2013. She was retired from Kentucky Fried Chicken on Keith St. where she worked for many years. She was a member of the Brittsville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father Chester Pendergrass and her mother and step father Josephine Cranfield Lewis and Ted “Fid” Lewis her husband Freddie Ware, two children Audra Jean Howard, William Craig Howard and a grandson Kevin Howard.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories two daughters and their spouses Beverly and Bobby Rayburn of Cleveland, Gloria and Tim Book one son and his wife Jeff and Denise Howard all of Georgetown, sisters Debbie Dixon and Melanie Whaley, brothers Dale Pendergrass, Terry Pendergrass, Ronnie Pendergrass and David Pendergrass. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amy Stiles, Jennifer Standifer, Tray Howard, Secily Taj, Sierra Howard, Meghan and Matthew Zook, Sarah and Matthew Book, nine great grandchildren a very special aunt Ruby Everett and many nieces and nephews.

A Remembrance of Life Service will be held 2pm Saturday at the Brittsville Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Purdie officiating. Interment will follow in McInturf Cemetery with Matthew Book, Leslie Jones, Mike Pendergrass, Tray Howard, Brian Stiles and Cody Whaley serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5 until 8 and Friday from 3 until 9 at the North Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes. The body will be at the church from 12 until 2 Saturday.
