He was the son of Wm. Henry Ware and Audrey Iola Brown Smith Ware. He was married to Dolores Teague and had three sons by that marriage, James Lloyd, Pat Gerald, and Howard Dudley Ware. He graduated from Newman High School, Sweetwater, Tx in 1952; lived most of his adult life in Midland and Odessa, Texas, working as a Licensed Two-Way Radio Technician. He is survived by four brothers and his three sons.
