Jack Julian Ware, 75, of Ringgold, Georgia, died on Friday October 14, 2016 at his residence.

He was born in LaFayette, Ga., to the late James Jack and Mary Bell Cochran Ware. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, worked in the carpet industry for 49 years and was of the Baptist faith. Jack loved fishing, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and fund raising for the youth at Origin Church. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Others that have preceded Jack in death are his sister, Judy Harris and grandson Ethan Gerrells.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Sandra Beard Ware of Ringgold; four children, David (Gina) Allen of Chattanooga, Jackie (Chad) Ware Gerrells of Ringgold, Mike (Ruthann) Stubblefield of Pensacola, and Robert (Karen) Stubblefield of Ringgold; sister, Peggy Allen of LaFayette; five grandchildren, Jacob Gerrells, Greyson Gerrells, Austin Stubblefield, Lawson Allen, and Madison Allen; several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Jack’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 16, in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Van Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 2-8 and Sunday, until funeral time at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel, Ringgold.
