RIPLEY – Lucille Ware Cross, 82, of Turnersville, N.J., homemaker, died of heart disease Tuesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, N.J. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Ripley Funeral Home with burial in Falkner Cemetery. She was a member of Saint John’s United Methodist Church in Turnersville where she was active in Sunday school. During World War II, she worked at the Red Stone Arsenal in Huntsville, Ala. Mrs. Cross, the wife of Thomas H. Cross, also leaves a daughter, Brenda Sue Cross of Pitman, N.J.; a son, Thomas H. Cross Jr. of Williamstown, N.J.; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
