WHYTE PICKARD WARE, 78, of San Bruno, Calif., formerly of Columbia, Tenn., letter carrier, died of cancer at his home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno. Chapel of the Highlands in Millbrae, Calif., has charge. Mr. Ware, the husband of Lydia Ware, also leaves local survivors including two sisters, Grace Holly and Emma Jean Smith, and a brother, William Ware, all of Memphis. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Pablo (Mont.) Baptist Church.
