MADGE WARE BOBBITT, 91, of Somerville, Tenn., former co-owner and operator of Bobbitt Grocery Store in the Macon community of Fayette County, Tenn., died of heart failure Tuesday at Methodist Hospital of Fayette. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home in Somerville with burial in Macon Cemetery. She was a member of the Macon United Methodist Church. Mrs. Bobbitt, the widow of Wilbur Eugene Bobbitt, leaves two sons, Wilbur F. ‘Bunk’ Bobbitt of Macon and Charles Dempsey Bobbitt of Oakland, Tenn., 11 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
