Helen Ware, age 91, July 2, 2001 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Retired employee from Housekeeping at the Chittenden Hotel. Life time member of Friendship Baptist Church where she sung in the mass choir. Preceded in death by husband John Ware, parents Robert and Luewill Walker, siblings Lizzie Mae (Buddy) Jones, Jimmie Walker, Martha (David) Dixon, Edward Walker, Emmit (Ollie Mae) Walker, Horace (Lillie Mae) Walker, Johnny Walker. Survived by sister, Luewill Smith; stepsons, Lewis Ware, John (Lois) Ware, Ben (Erma) Ware; stepdaughters Estelle Madison and Pat Ware; 44 nieces nephews. A host of grand & great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Friends may call Friday July 6, 2001 at Friendship Baptist Church 1775 West Broad St. after 9 a.m. where family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Pastor G.
