Dixie Ellen Ware, 23, of Pickerington, died Sunday, Jan. 29, 1989, at

Humana Hospital University in Louisville, Ky.

She was a 1984 graduate of Pickerington High School, and a 1988 graduate of Wittenberg University.

She is survived by mother, Stephanie Carney of Pickerington; father, Robert Lane Ware of Lansdale, Pa.; brothers, Jim Carney and Lane Ware; grandparents, Hazel and Lane Ware of Akron, Ken and Mary Jo Davis, Robert and Fran Hare

Charles T. and Alice Carney; aunts, Kathleen Lapchynski and Susan Beeler, both of Akron.

Friends may call Thursday, 7 to 9 p.m., and Friday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home in Pickerington. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. SaturDAY, at the Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church in Pickerington. Friends who wish may contribute to the East Asian Studies Department
