Hubert E. Ware, 58, of Coventry Township, died Feb. 26.
Born in West Virginia, he had lived in the Akron area most of his life. He worked at Bender-Loudon Motor Freight for 30 years, and was a member of the Teamsters Local 24, and the First Evangelical Congregational Church. He also served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Joan D.; son and daughter-in-law David and Nancy Ware of Akron; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Jim Jackson of Coventry Township; mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Roy (Oma) Marsh of Philippi, W. Va.; brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Joan Ware of West Palm Beach, Fla.; sister, Jean Woodard of Akron; grandchildren, Mark Jackson, Daniel Jackson and Nicole Ware.
Calling hours will be TONIGHT, 5 to 9, at the Schermesser Funeral Home
Suburban South Chapel, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (Route 619). Funeral services Thursday, 11 a.m., at the funeral home, with Rev. Maurice E. Friedlund officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the First Evangelical Congregational Church, or the American Heart
