Virginia M. Grayson Ware, 78, Chicago, Ill., Saturday, November 1, 1997 after a long illness died at the Little Company of Mary Hospital in Chicago. Born in New York City, March 5, 1919 to Pastor Starling and Hazel Grayson. Dr. Grayson was a former pastor at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 428 E. Main St., Columbus, Oh. for a number of years. Her funeral will be held Friday, November 7, 1997 at 2 p.m. at The Congregational Church of Park Manor, 7000 South King Drive, Chicago, Ill. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, James H. Ware; 2 children, Linice (Bobbie) Howie and Renee K. Coleman; 2 brothers, Robert and Kenneth Grayson; son-in-law, Maurice Coleman; a host of brothers and sisters-in-law; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
