Funeral services for Lataine Thereas Ware Clark were held at 1 p.m., Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Christian Tabernacle in Pine Prairie with Reverend Barry Gautreaux, Reverend BJ, and Reverend Chris Juneau officiating. Committal service followed in the McCormack Cemetery in Lake Cove under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Thereas, 74, of Pine Prairie, entered eternal rest on Monday, June 20, 2016 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte with her loving family by her side. She was born January 29, 1942 in Pitkin to the union of Solamon Ware and Dottie Willis Ware. She was a member of Christian Tabernacle, a loving sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Varnell Clark; one son, Joseph Ware; four brothers, Vernon Ware, Wildred Willis, Houston Ware, and Alvin Ware.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are: one brother, Raynie Ware of Spring, Texas; one sister, Norma Jean Richmond of Oakdale, Texas; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers to serve will be Robert Clark, Jr., Norman Gautreaux, David Ray Johnson, Bobby Carter, Seth Gautreaux, and Jamey Jones. Honorary pallbearer to serve will be Marvin Clark.
