David Middleton Ware Obituary, 2017

David Middleton Ware died at his Corvallis home on October 27, 2017.

He was born on August 9, 1941 to George and Lorna Ware in Plainfield, New Jersey.

 Dave moved to the West coast as a young man where he met his wife Wendy. They were married on February 11, 1965 in Palo Alto, where both were employed. They had a son Greg and a daughter Leslie in the Bay Area before they moved to Moran, Wyoming where Dave became merchandise manager for Rock Resorts in the Grand Teton National Park.

The family spent 18 years there living near the beautiful Grand Teton range.

They settled in Corvallis after choosing it as their new home. Their children went to school and college in the area.

Dave was a supporter of the Grand Teton Historical Society.

He is survived by his wife, Wendy; son Greg Ware of Corvallis; daughter Leslie Yatomi of Bend; brother-in-law Peter Rhoads of Stow, Massachusetts; and four grandchildren, Lanikai, Sarah, Keoni and Ikaia.

 

A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 10 at the Grace Bible Fellowship, 33990 McFarland Road in Tangent.

Memorial contributions can be made to Lumina Hospice.

Weddle Funeral Home in Stayton is handling arrangements.
